
Intergroup Meeting Rep
Responsibilities of an Intergroup Rep:
1. Attend Monthly Intergroup Meetings
• Verify your meeting’s details with the Registrar.
• Bring your meeting’s financial donation to the Intergroup Treasurer.
• Pick up literature ordered for your meeting and free copies of The Bottom Line newsletter.
• Vote on Intergroup business items.
• Collect and distribute flyers and other information for your meeting.
2. Facilitate Communication Between Meetings and Intergroup
• Share updates from Intergroup with your meeting.
• Report any concerns, feedback, or requests from your meeting to Intergroup.
3. Participate in Group Conscience
• Occasionally, Intergroup may request a group conscience from your meeting on specific issues. You would then report your group’s decision back to Intergroup.
4. Service Beyond the Intergroup Meetings
• Intergroup offers various service opportunities beyond attending meetings, such as participation in committees or special projects .
Meeting Expectations:
• Arrive early for the meeting (typically 3:15–3:30 PM).
• Sign in with the Registrar and collect any necessary materials.
• Be prepared to introduce yourself, state which meeting you represent, and report any financial contributions.
• Stay engaged in voting and discussions that impact SLAA Los Angeles.
