Intergroup Meeting Rep

Responsibilities of an Intergroup Rep:

1. Attend Monthly Intergroup Meetings

• Verify your meeting’s details with the Registrar.

• Bring your meeting’s financial donation to the Intergroup Treasurer.

• Pick up literature ordered for your meeting and free copies of The Bottom Line newsletter.

• Vote on Intergroup business items.

• Collect and distribute flyers and other information for your meeting.

2. Facilitate Communication Between Meetings and Intergroup

• Share updates from Intergroup with your meeting.

• Report any concerns, feedback, or requests from your meeting to Intergroup.

3. Participate in Group Conscience

• Occasionally, Intergroup may request a group conscience from your meeting on specific issues. You would then report your group’s decision back to Intergroup.

4. Service Beyond the Intergroup Meetings

• Intergroup offers various service opportunities beyond attending meetings, such as participation in committees or special projects .

Meeting Expectations:

• Arrive early for the meeting (typically 3:15–3:30 PM).

• Sign in with the Registrar and collect any necessary materials.

• Be prepared to introduce yourself, state which meeting you represent, and report any financial contributions.

• Stay engaged in voting and discussions that impact SLAA Los Angeles.

POSTION OVERVIEW

Serves as the conduit between their meeting groups and Intergroup. Their primary role is to relay important information, updates, and decisions between these entities.

We are fully self supporting declining outside contributions. 
All donations support the intergroup's continued mission to carry the message of the 12 steps of SLAA to those who still suffer.
